OKRs (objectives and key results) are a modern goal-setting methodology used by teams and individuals to set goals with measurable results. Many companies use OKRs to align goals in an organization and make progress towards them every week.
Learning how to use OKRs is not easy though. They seem simple in theory, but getting the hang of OKRs takes some practice. OKRs are particularly tricky to get right for engineering teams. Some aspects are easy to quantify, but others are more creative and it's not obvious how to measure progress.
